Lockney ? Funeral services for Richard William Mahagan, 63, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Samples, retired minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
Mr. Mahagan died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at his residence.
He was born May 17, 1935, the son of the late Eligh and Delpha Burton Mahagan. He attended schools in Ellen and moved from Plainview to Floyd County in 1972. He was a farmer, a Baptist and a member of Elks Lodge #1175 in Plainview.
On Feb. 18, 1953, he married Annie Collene Dipprey in Plainview. She died July 28, 1991.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Mahagan of Plainview; two daughters, Vonda McLaughlin of Lockney and Licinda Torrez of Commerce; two brothers L.G. Mahagan of Claytonville and Melvin Mahagan of Hale Center; two grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
