Perez, Robert, Mrs. (Juanita (Janie) Garza)

Juanita "Janie" Perez, 74, passed away on March 29, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2017, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Perez was born Jan. 13, 1943, in Pharr, Texas. She married Robert Perez on Jan. 17, 1968, in Plainview. She was a homemaker, a member of the Guadalupanas and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Vincent Garza Jr.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Robert Perez of Plainview; two daughters, Sheila Ramirez of Plainview and Norma Bullard of Odessa; one son, Jerry Perez of San Antonio; one stepson, Johnny Perez of Keller; one brother, Arnold Garza of Austin; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
