Perez, Casey Adam

Casey Adam Perez, 32, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Hale Center Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Kornerstone's chapel.

Casey was born on Sept. 27, 1984, in Hale Center to Oscar and Sylvia Perez. He attended schools in Hale Center and graduated from Hale Center High School in 2003. He then attended Wayland Baptist University. Casey worked for Quality Air for many years before going to work as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. He was a Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sylvia Perez.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Castillo of Hale Center; three stepchildren, Alexis Hooks, Jeremy Hooks Jr. and Jariyah Hooks, all of Hale Center; father and stepmother, Oscar and Linda Perez of Plainview; three brothers, Anthony Perez of North Carolina, Jeremy Perez of Plainview and Jacob Triplett of Maryland; one sister, Tiffany Perez of Grapevine; one stepbrother, Josh Norwood of Plainview; and one stepsister, Jessica Norwood of Plainview.
