Pena, Gilbert,Sr., Mrs. (Eugenia Lucio)

Eugenia L de Pena, 67, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Lopez officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday evening, May 11, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eugenia was born on Dec. 28, 1949, in Mexico to Francisco and Joaquina Lucio. She married Gilberto Pena Sr. on Aug. 24, 1966, in Mesillas, N.M. She worked for Cargill for several years and was a member of the Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Pena; her parents, Francisco and Joaquina Lucio; one brother, Joe Lucio Sr.; and one sister, Josephine Lucio.

She is survived by her husband Gilbert Pena Sr.; two daughters, Sandra Martinez and Diana Rodriguez; seven sons, Albert Pena, Gilbert Pena Jr., Juan Pena, George Pena, Robert Pena, Ruben Pena, Steven Pena; five sisters, Amelia Lucio, Trinidad Armijo, Maria Elena Porras, Ana Velia Lucio, Gloria Garibay; six brothers, Raul Lucio Sr., Francisco Lucio Jr., Luis Lucio Sr., Ricky Lucio, Juan Lucio and Alfredo Lucio; and 59 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
