Murillo, Ramiro

Ramiro Murillo, 82, of Plainview, passed away on June 1, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.

There will be a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Ramiro was born July 23, 1934 in Torre?n, Mexico to Pascual and Sara (Flores) Murillo. He married Berene Chavez. Over the span of more than 60 years, they raised a beautiful family. Ramiro was a hard worker and his priority was providing for his family. He enjoyed gardening and always raised vegetables. It gave him immense joy to see the fruit of his labor. He was a good husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by so many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son.

Those left to cherish her memory are his bride of over 60 years, Berene, of the home; four daughters, Sara Lopez Murillo, Andrea Murillo, Adelina Pi?a and Araceli Molina; two sons, Joel Murillo and Ramiro Murillo, Jr.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
