McCormack, Keith, Mrs. (Lora Dorinda Goodwin)

Lora Dorinda Goodwin McCormack, 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, in Plainview Cemetery with Steve McCune officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

Dorinda was born on Oct. 23, 1944, in Frederick, Okla., to Charles Wesley and Marie King Goodwin. She attended schools in Plainview. She was a Christian and a member of the Baptist Church. In 1961 she married the love of her life, Keith McCormack. She was his greatest fan, both in his personal life and of his music. They lived many years in Springfield, Missouri, before Dorinda moved to Amarillo following Keith's death. Dorinda had Multiple Sclerosis for the past 30 years and although she was almost totally paralyzed by the disease, she retained her sweet and optimistic spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Keith and son Malley.

Dorinda is survived by her sister, Linda Culp of Canyon; one niece, Christy Stewart of Cleveland, Ohio, and good friend, Ronald Phinny of Amarillo as well as many cousins and friends.
