Carter, Troy Randall (Randy)

Randy Carter, 63, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Cremations arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the funeral home.

Mr. Carter was born on Jan. 8, 1954, in Plainview, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Temple and one brother, Terry Carter.

He is survived by one daughter, Summer Duffy and husband David of Arp, Texas; one son, Aaron Carter and wife Sarah of Hutto, Texas; his father, Troy Carter and wife Nancy of Plainview; two sisters, Tangy Garrison and husband Larry of Tulia and Tina Hamilton and husband Kenny of Linden, Texas; his stepfather, Herman Temple of Atlanta, Texas; one stepbrother, Mike Temple of Atlanta, Texas; two stepsisters, Brandi Brown of Lubbock and Debbie Kinslow of Houston and seven grandchildren, Houston Duffy, Kyle Duffy, Shyann Duffy, Aidan Carter, Hannah Bryce Carter, Sydney Carter and Hudson Carter.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of choice .
