Barton, Lindsay Joe, Mrs. (Marcia Lee Piatt)

Marcia Lee Barton, 83 of Plainview, passed away on April 4, 2017 surrounded by family.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Plainview Memorial Park.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-7:30 on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Lemons Funeral Home.

Marcia was born in Oklahoma City on February 18, 1934, the daughter of Denver G. and Elsie Mae (Boyd) Piatt. She attended school in Oklahoma City. Marcia married Lindsay Joe Barton on January 18,1951 and they remained married for 53 years.

Her interests were bowling, playing golf, and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lindsay and her daughter, Teresa.

Those left to cherish her memory are; two daughters, Linda Watson and husband, Richard and Janet Burleson and husband, Greg; one son, Linzy Barton; 10 grandchildren, Kimberly Haresnape, Monty Watson, Sheldon Burleson, Rachel McClung, Josh Burleson, Lindsay Leigh Oliver, Kenny Sharp, Kevin Sharp, Lee Stoneking and Kristi Pulliam. She is also survived by twenty-five great grandchildren.
