Aguirre, Joe Louis

Joe Louis Aguirre, self-employed and a welder by trade unexpectedly died on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

Joe is survived by his son Daniel Aguirre and daughter Elda Jo Aguirre, both of Plainview, Texas; one grandson, Adrian Joe Gonzales of Plainview, Texas; and two granddaughters, Billie Jo Gonzales of Plainview and Evah Annaleise Aguirre of Lubbock, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents Apolonio and Tomasa Vargas Aguirre, both from Plainview, Texas.
Joe Louis was born in Spur, Texas, on July 7, 1955. He grew up in Spur and in Plainview Texas. In 1974, he graduated from Plainview High School. He was a welder by trade, and self-employed. He also was an employee of the Classic Casino in the 1970s and 1980s.

Interment of his cremated remains will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 22. in Plainview Memorial Park.
