Castro, Virginia Ramos

Memorial services for Virginia Ramos Castro, 38, of Plainview will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Minister T.C. Collins officiating. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Virginia died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, in Plainview. She was born Aug. 28, 1978, in Hale Center, Texas, to Martin and Victoria Ramos. Virginia loved cooking and barbecuing outside. She graduated from Kaplan College with honors and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by one daughter, Victoria Ramos and Ricardo Espinoza of Plainview; two sons, Joseph and Josiah Castro both of Plainview; her parents, Martin and Victoria Ramos of Plainview; one brother, Martin Ramos Jr. of Plainview; four sisters, Rosemary and Jessie Maldonado and Margarita and T.C. Collins both of Plainview, Maria and Tony Amador of Daytona, Fla., and Emily and Jaime Rodriguez of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Athena, Melina and Leonidas Espinoza and several nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
