Barrientos, Jose Del Carmen

Jose Del Carmen Barrientos, 58, of Plainview passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Barrientos was born on June 16, 1958. He worked for Azteca Milling and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Barrientos of Plainview; one daughter, Roxanne Barrientos of Plainview; one son, Carmelo Barrientos of Amarillo; his mother, Delfina Herrera Piedra; five brothers, Pedro Barrientos, Serjio Barrientos, Maximino Barrientos, Jose Barrientos and Catarino Barrientos; four sisters, Panfila Barrientos, Catalina Barrientos, Antonia Barrientos and Jovelia Barrientos; two grandchildren and one hija/hijo on the way.
