Valles, Jesus, Mrs. (Irene Guadian)

Irene Valles, 67, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 in Lubbock. Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.
A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Irene was born on June 28, 1949, in Guadalupe Mexico. She grew up as a child in Mexico before moving to Texas. She married Jesus Valles on July 4, 1964. She was a homemaker and loved gardening and taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by a brother Jose Guadian. Survivors include her husband, Jesus Valles of Plainview; four children, Carlos Valles of Plainview, Noe Valles and wife Irma of Lubbock, Hilda Valles and husband Raul Salas of El Paso, George Valles and wife Dawn of Lubbock; one brother, Abel Guadian of Plainview; six grandchildren, Omar Valles of Lubbock, Erica Soto of Lubbock, Kyra Valles of Plainview, Christian Valles of Plainview, Gabriel Valles of Lubbock, Jacob Valles of Lubbock; and three great-grandchildren, Josiah Bocanegra, Jocelinn Bocanegra and Joaquin Soto.
