Wheeler, Patricia (Pat) Ann Bailey

Patricia (Pat) Ann Wheeler, 76 went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday evening the 11th of December 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Oscar Chavez, chaplain for Area Community Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wheeler was born April 7, 1940 to Everett E. and Alma Ray Bailey in Leonard Texas. Pat was one of six girls and two boys. Pat attended schools in both Dimmitt and Lubbock. She loved, was loved and attended to by her family and friends. She was a member of the Messianic Worship Congregation and served the God of Abraham, loved the state of Israel and the Jewish people.

She was preceded in death by her son Josuha, both her parents, and one sister, Jean Cathey.

Pat is survived by her daughter Kim Nunez and husband Rey of Gainsville; three grandchildren, Sasha, Ricky and Justin; three great grandchildren, Joel, Kaityn and Jesse all of whom live in Gainsville; four sisters, Glenda Higgs of Plainview, Diane Laurent of Plainview, Debbie Young of Plainview and Marleta Mayfield and husband Bill of Lubbock; two brothers Ron Bailey and wife Diane of Plainview and Gary Bailey and wife Sandy of Lubbock; one brother in law, James Cathey of Quitaque. Out of her family she had a host of nieces and nephews along with great nieces and great-nephews and others. She also had a host of friends.
