McCulloch, Don, Mrs. (Jonell Buchanan)

Jonell McCulloch, 85, of Plainview passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Lubbock. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Mark Leach and Mr. Benny Durham officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the funeral home.

Jonell was born on January 12, 1931 in Hale County to J.E. and Ora Lee Buchanan. She married Don McCulloch on May 16, 1948 in Plainview. She was a farmer?s wife and helped her husband on the farm in many capacities and took care of their home. They loved to travel around in their Camper and spend time together as a family. Jonell was also an excellent cook. She was a member of the PTA, La Casa Club, and a member of the Harvest Christian Church.

Jonell was preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents, J.E. and Ore Lee Buchanan; siblings, Bruce Buchanan, Royce Buchanan, Bobbie McGee, Mattie Louise Whitfield.

She is survived by a son, Ronnie McCulloch and wife Dawn of Plainview; a daughter, Donna Wilson and husband Rodney of Lubbock; 8 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
