Green James Edward,Jr.

Funeral services for James Edward Green Jr., 72, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward L. Jennings, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Gardens by Jamison?s Funeral Home of Lubbock.

Mr. Green died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at his residence.

He was born April 28, 1927, in Giddings. He moved to Plainview in 1955 and worked at Plainview Cotton Oil Mill for many years.

He was a member of New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.

On Nov. 27, 1974, he married Ora Jean Alexander in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Alax McAdoo of Austin, LaRoyce McAdoo of Plainview and Chet McAdoo of Tyler, two daughters, Kimberly Corley of Gallup, N.M. and Tammara McAdoo of Plainview; a sister, Dora Green of Temple; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
