Obituary
Trevino, Mario Hector, Mrs. (Jacqueline Ann (Jackie))
My precious mother, Jacqueline Ann Trevino was born in Larend, Kansas, on Oct. 9, 1932. She went to a Catholic High School for two years. Her freshman year in Amarillo, she attended St. Mary's Academy. She then moved to Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1949. She worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone from 1950 to 1960. She married Mario Hector Trevino on Aug. 6, 1960, in El Paso, Texas, and were together for 45 years. She worked at the Courthouse as a telephone operator, and then found her true calling in life as a passionate sales associate at Gabriel's then J.C. Penney. She loved helping people throughout her entire life. She attended St. Alice Catholic Church in Plainview. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and William Crafton of Lubbock. William and I want say thank you to Patricia, Connie, Linda, Letty and all the ladies who helped Jackie throughout her entire stay at Westridge Manor. We will be eternally grateful and hold you ladies dear to our hearts. We also want to thank Accolade, especially Debbie, Rosemary and all the ladies for their gentle care of Jackie. A special thank you to Sister Martha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at St. Alice Catholic Church with Monsignor Nicolas Rendon officiating. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Monday prior to the Mass. The burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association or St. Alice Catholic Church in Plainview. She had a gracious heart and will be deeply missed.
