Ballinger, Bill B.

Graveside service for Bill B. Ballinger, 93, of Plainview will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, in Plainview Memorial Park. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Ballinger died Oct. 18, 2016, in Plainview. He was born Sept. 29, 1923, in Era, Texas, to Luther Hale and Veda Anderson Ballinger. He married Beverly Nan Johnson on April 15, 1949, in Perryton, Texas. He was a veteran of WWII and was in the automobile business in the Plainview area for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Nan Ballinger of Plainview; one granddaughter, Rachel Stalcup and husband Chase of Plainview; one daughter-in-law, Arlene Aven Ballinger of Plainview; two nephews, Steve Ballthrop of Electra, Texas, and Ron Pierce of Jacksonville, Texas. He is preceded in death by one son, Randy Ballinger.
