Spencer, Jimmy (JL), Mrs. (Frances Lovell)

Frances Spencer, 84, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, October 1 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in the Chapel of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Kornerstone.

Frances was born on October 31, 1931 to Thomas and Jimmie Lovell. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1950. She married Jimmy ?JL? Spencer on December 31, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico. Frances was a homemaker and stay at home mom. She enjoyed sewing and making ceramics and also loved word search books. She also loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy ?JL? Spencer and her parents, Thomas and Jimmie Lovell.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Bailey of Justin; son, Steve Spencer of Plainview; grandchildren, Chad Bailey of Justin, Brandon Bailey and wife Delisa of Plainview; Dondi Spann and husband Dustin of Plainview, Cody Spencer of Plainview; great grandchildren, Kace Spencer of Plainview, Khord Spann of Plainview, Jennifer Alonzo of Justin, Jonathan Alonzo of Lubbock, Jenysis Alonzo of Lubbock, Courtney Isom of Plainview, and Cadelee Isom of Plainview.
