Recio, Joseph

Joseph Recio, 30, of Plainview, passed away on July 20, 2016.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. There will be a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, at Lemons Memorial Chapel.

Joseph was born on January 24, 1986 in Plainview to Alfonso and Martha (Melendez) Recio. He graduated from Plainview High School.

Joseph is described as a caring, kind, loving man who had a big heart and cared for everyone. He loved cooking out for his family. He spent as much time as possible with his loved ones and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; three uncles; one aunt and four cousins.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Alfonso and Martha Recio of Plainview; one brother, Daniel Recio of Plainview; three sisters, Elizabeth Saenz and husband Patrick of Alice, TX, Theresa Talsma and husband Kenny of Plainview and Veronica Hopkins and husband John of Ft. Belfort, VA. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
