Lovvorn, Travis, Mrs. (Janet Francis Shuping)

Janet Francis Lovvorn, 83, of Hereford, Tx went home to be with her Heavenly Father on July 14, 2016. She was born in Pampa, Tx on May 19, 1933 to D.L. and Ila Shuping. She married the love of her life, Travis Lovvorn, on October 29, 1950. They resided in Hereford, Tx where they owned and operated Flowers West for 25 years before their retirement. Janet served as a devoted military wife, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and special friend to many. Her interests and multiple talents included interior design, painting, and her two passionate careers working as a beautician and florist. She was a spirit filled, special lady that shared God?s word with everyone. The legacy she leaves behind will live on forever through her sharing the love of Jesus and intently teaching her family to know and have a relationship with Him. She was the perfect picture of a servant as she always put other?s needs before her own. She will be deeply missed by all. Janet was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include Husband Travis Lovvorn of the home, daughter Rebekah Smith and husband Barry Smith of Hereford, Tx, daughter Kimberly Newman and husband Ben Newman of Portales, NM, Granddaughter Marcie Grooms, and husband Kevin Grooms of Canyon, Tx, Granddaughter Jennifer Webb and husband Larry Webb of Newkirk, NM, grandson Weston Wilcox and fiance? Laurie Watts of Hereford, TX, granddaughter Brittney Stephens and husband Jonathen Stephens of Bushland, TX, great grandkids include Dillon and Macie White, Kippi and Karli Webb, Kaegan and Kyler Stephens, her sister Layvon Hughes and husband Glynn Don Hughes of Canyon, TX, sister Joann Street and husband Dale Street of Plainview, Tx as well as many loving nieces and nephews along with their familie. Visitation will be at Bartley Funeral Home in Plainview, Tx on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Bartley Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
