Terrell, Terry, Mrs. (Kimberli Hingst)

Kimberli Hingst Terrell, 58, went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2016 at her home in Lubbock.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7 at St. Paul?s Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Heckmann officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.

Kim was born on May 6, 1958 in Plainview, the daughter of Betty and (the late) Warren Hingst. Kim graduated from Plainview High School and went on to marry (the late) Terry Terrell in the summer of 1976. Kim and Terry built their home SE of Plainview.

Kim was a twirler in high school, participated in Young Homemakers, and was a devout wife and mother who took pride and participated in every aspect of farm life. The Terrells were active in the First United Methodist Church where Kim sang in the choir and played handbells. She later received her nursing certificate and enjoyed taking care and visiting with her patients. Kim loved to sing, play piano, and visit with people. She loved her family and friends. Kim was especially proud of her grandchildren, who lovingly called her ?Nana?. Kim?s infectious smile and laugh will be missed.

She is preceeded in death by Terry Terrell and Warren Hingst (father). She is survived by her mother, Betty Hingst of Plainview; a brother, Chris (and Holly) Hingst of St. Francis, Kansas; a sister, Heidi (and Tim) Kuehn of Lubbock; her daughter, Melissa (and Allan) Burns of College Station; and her son, Tye Jacob ?T.J.? (and Kendra) Terrell of Plainview; grandchildren: Jillian Burns, Brandon Burns, Tye Terrell, Tell Terrell, and many loved nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
