Young, Peggy Joyce Billington

Peggy Joyce Billington Young of Plainview went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 9, 2016. She was born on Feb. 7, 1938, to Arlie and Dorothy Billington. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1956 and went to West Texas State University. She was a loving and caring mom to her three kids whom she adored. She was the best playmate to all of her grandkids, who fondly called her Peppy. Those left to cherish her memory are her children and spouses; Mark Wolfington, Mechelle (David) Hullum and Matt (Robin) Wolfington; grandkids Jordan (Brad) Bujan; Morgan, Haleigh, Macy Wolfington; Caleb and Caitlin Hullum; sister, Donna (Denson) Adkins; brothers Ted (Billie) Billington and Keith (Cindy) Billington and numerous nieces and nephews. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, Lubbock. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 78 years at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at Plainview Memorial Park.
