Thompson, Arvadie, Mrs. (Lee Vester Williams)

Lee Vester Thompson HALE CENTER-Lee Vester Thompson, 93, of Hale Center, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2016. She was born on Dec. 20, 1922, to the parentage of Cliff Williams and Gertrude Preston. She married Arvadie Thompson in 1961. She lived and worked in Hale Center for Dr. Ray Freeman and Dr. Linton. She was devoted to the Lord, and was a loving daughter, mother, wife and friend to many people. She raised several children in her day, and would always say, Jesus loves you and I do to. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arvadie Thompson. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hale Center. Interment will follow in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held today, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
