Rivera, Manuel,Jr.

Funeral services for Manuel Rivera Jr., 67, of Mangum, Oklahoma, formerly of Plainview will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Raymond Flores officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Rivera died April 14, 2016, in Oklahoma City. He was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Elsa, Texas, to Manuel and Beatriz (Martinez) Rivera Sr. He married Raquel Flores on July 28, 1969, in Plainview. He is survived by his wife, Raquel Rivera of Mangum, Okla.; three sons, Leandro Rivera of Mangum, Okla., Jaime Rivera and wife Paula of Plainview and Ricky Garcia; three daughters, Nora Rivera of Mangum, Okla., Laura Rivera and husband Jay Jimenez of Lovington, N.M., and Beatrice Rivera and husband Greg Gutierrez of Bryan, Texas; his mother, Beatriz Rivera of Dumas; three brothers, Juan Rivera and wife Jessica and Rudy Rivera and wife Nina, both of Plainview, and Ruben Rivera and wife Ophelia of Lovington, N.M.; three sisters, Lupe Campos of Sunnyville, Calif., Gloria Lozano and husband Fred of Arlington, Texas and Yolanda Rivera of Dumas; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Rivera Sr.; son, Manuel Rivera III; brother, Jesse Rivera; and a grandson, Joshua Gutierrez.
