Kemp, T.W., Mrs. (Lois Marie Tyler)

Lois Marie Kemp, 88, of Plainview, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 6, 2016 in Parklawn Memorial Park in Plainview. Friends are invited to pay their respects to Mrs. Kemp at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Lockney on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Lois Marie Tyler was born May 21, 1927 in Altus, Okla., to Horace and Stella (Underwood) Tyler. She was a graduate of Mangum High School. She met the love of her life, T.W. Kemp, in Lubbock and they were married on Sept. 12, 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.W. in 2004. Survivors include her two sons, Jimmy Kemp and wife Jami of Lockney and Larry Thomas Kemp and wife Melody of Arlington; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
