Baca, Josephine Molinar

Funeral Mass for Josephine Molinar Baca, 92 of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Baca died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Lubbock. She was born Jan. 5, 1924, in Presidio, Texas, to Miguel and Josefina Molinar. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters, Olga and Mike Chapa of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Yolanda Garcia of Floydada; one son, Samuel M. Baca of Plainview; one sister, Alicia Gonzales of Silver City, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan H. Baca; both parents; two sisters, Eusvia and Lucia Hernandez; and six brothers, Ramon, Dolores, Isidro, Alvaro, Monico and Julioan Molinar.
