Stewart, Dean, Mrs. (Doris (Jerry) Schneider Williams)

Doris "Jerry" Williams Stewart, 81, of Brownfield formerly of Plainview passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Oscar Chavez officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. A visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. Jerry was born on Sept. 13, 1934 in Plainview, Texas, to Edgar Lewis and Ava Mae Schneider. She was a homemaker, nurse and also a truck driver. She loved to watch football and she loved to gamble. She also loved to go shopping including garage and estate sales. She enjoyed getting her hair done at the beauty shop and drinking coffee at the Nu-Griddle here in town. She married Dean Stewart on July 13, 2002, in Plainview. Jerry was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Williams; two sons, Teddy Lee Williams and Jay Williams. Survivors include her husband Dean Stewart of Brownfield; two daughters, Teresa Lutrick of Amherst, Laurie Dyer of Brownfield; four sons, Ronnie Stewart of South Plains, Kyle Stewart of Floydada, Dylan Dyer of Brownfield, Lawson Dunagan of San Antonio; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
