Topper, Jon Brent

Jon Brent Topper, 53, passed away March 22, 2016 in Amarillo, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday March 25, 2016, in the Family Life Chapel of First Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Marrow officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Topper was born Nov. 7, 1962, in Pampa, Texas. He raised and trained medical service dogs and was an avid knife maker. He is survived by his parents, Linda Wideman and husband Mark of Plainview; one sister, Melissa McNew and husband Dean of Henderson; three brothers, Randy Wideman and wife Janna of The Woodlands, Chad Wideman and wife Allison of Lubbock and Chance Wideman and wife Janaye of Abilene and numerous nieces and nephews.
