Henderson, Jim Henry, Mrs. (Erline Lois Marshall)

Erline Lois Henderson, 91, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016, at Northwest Church of Christ with Mr. Pat Mannon officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Henderson was born on Feb. 9, 1925, in Turkey, Texas, to Willie A. and Lela Marshall. She married Jim Henry Henderson on Feb. 17, 1947. She moved to Plainview in 1991 and was a member of Northwest Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, W.A. Marshall Jr.; and two sisters, Laura Moore and husband Floyd and Audrie Murphy and husband Delbert. Survivors include her husband, Jim Henry Henderson of Plainview; one daughter, Susie Eileene Short and husband Chock Sr. of Baytown; one son, J Henderson and wife Gay of Plainview; one sister, Christine Henderson and husband Charles of Colorado City; one sister-in-law, Ann Marshall of Plainview; five grandchildren, Paul Henderson and wife Leslie, Phillip Henderson and wife Andrea, Jace Henderson and wife Deidra, Charles Short Jr. and wife JoAnn and Heather Hentges and husband Kenny; and 10 great-grandchildren.
