Benton Wesley Miller Jr. A memorial service for Benton Wesley Miller Jr., 61, of Lubbock will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Plainview, Wednesday, March 2, with Pastor David Hawkins officiating. Ben was born Dec. 2, 1954, in Pasco, Washington. He passed away in Lubbock at UMC on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016. Ben was an avid dancer. He enjoyed his church family and was an active member in other support groups. He was in the U.S. Army for 12 years, serving in Korea and Germany between the years of 1971 and 1983. He is survived by his dad, Benton Wesley Miller Sr. and wife Marilyn; Belinda Wells, sister; Curtis Miller, brother; Ann Talley, aunt; caregivers Jeanie Pennell, Delton Waggoner and wife Ann, Tom Ford and wife Delila, and Don Love and wife Ettalea. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ruth Smoot Miller. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
