Escobar, Johnny Ray
Johnny Ray Escobar was born March 26, 1965, in Plainview, Texas, to Dorothy and Armando Gaytan. He passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, in Lubbock at the age of 50. A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Plainview Civic Center, 2902 W. Fourth St., Plainview. Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents Manuel and Tina Escobar, Jose Angel Gaytan, Socorro and Mosses Guerrero; his mother Dorothy Galvan; and his brother Gilbert Gaytan. He is survived by his daughter, Kacee Escobar (fianc? Jacob Teofilo) of Clovis, N.M.; his father, Armando (Sally) Gaytan of Lubbock; his grandson Andrew Teofilo of Clovis, N.M.; sister Becky Arcos of Lubbock; several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place.
