Salinas, Joe

Funeral mass for Joe Salinas, 45, of Plainview will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Nahum Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at the funeral home. Joe died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, in Plainview. He was born on May 9, 1970, in Goodland, Kansas, to Jose and Hope Salinas. He is survived by two sons, Joe Salinas III and Jaime Salinas, both of Plainview; two daughters, Adriana Nichol Salinas and Kimberly Salinas, both of Plainview; his parents, Jose and Hope Salinas of Plainview; one brother, Tim and Marcela Salinas of Plainview; one sister, Cindy Salinas of Plainview; one grandson, Eli Xavier DeLaPaz; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Jayden Josiah DeLaPaz and a nephew, Adam Salinas.
