Vargas, Gabriel

Gabriel Vargas, 25, passed away on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Arturo Meza officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Vargas was born March 21, 1990, in Lockney, Texas, to Lupe and Rosa Vargas. He graduated from Silverton High School and attended Wayland Baptist University. He is survived by his parents, Lupe and Rosa Vargas of Plainview; two brothers, Lupe Vargas Jr. of Amarillo and Nicholas Vargas of Lubbock; grandparents Manuel Vargas and Guadalupe Rodriguez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
