Rodriguez, Victor,Jr.

Victor Rodriguez Jr., 62, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lupe Moreno officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-7 p.m. Friday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Victor was born Oct. 2, 1953, in Lockney, Texas, to Victor Rodriguez Sr. and Olivia Olivarez Rodriguez. He graduated from Plainview High School and attended Wayland Baptist University. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and later worked for the U.S. Forest Service in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his brother, Alfredo Rodriguez. Survivors include his parents; three children, Samuel, Angelica and Victoria; six sisters, June Azua, Helen Peters, Yesenia Pardo, Gracie Adams, Juanita Ortega and Rosita Hernandez; seven brothers, Oscar Rodriguez, Richard Rodriguez, Ruben Rivera, Bobby Cervantes,
