Rodriguez, Eluterio (Luther)

Eluterio "Luther" Rodriguez, 92, of Plainview passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Luther was born on March 12, 1923, to Eluterio and Josepha Rodriguez in Anson. He married Maria Buendia in 1950 in Clovis, N.M. She preceded him in death on June 1, 2004. He is survived by four daughters, Delphina Rodriguez and husband Alex of Ballinger, Martha Zertuche and husband Oscar of Ballinger, Frances Majalca Patino of Ballinger and Margie Chavez and husband Adan of Plainview; two sons, Reyes Alonzo and wife Armendina of Plainview and Johnny Alonzo and wife Tencha of Amarillo; one sister, Victoriana Cervantez of California; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
