Obituary
LOCKNEY ? Graveside services for Velma Pearl Bonner, 89, of Lockney, will be at 11 a.m. today at Plainview Memorial Park with Russell Harris officiating and Bill Sherman assisting.
Burial is under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Lockney.
She died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002.
She was born July 16, 1912, in Knox County. She graduated high school in Ralls. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lockney and a past president of the Parent Teachers Association in Lockney. She owned Bonner's Gift and Framing Shop and served several years in the Floyd County Fair Art Department.
An infant daughter, Aldene, preceded her in death in 1932.
Survivors include her husband of 75 years, E.A.; two daughters, Mary Jo Sherman and Jonnie Mae Quisenberry, both of Lockney; one sister, Emma Givens of Lockney; eight grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
