Eulalio "Lalo" Estrada, 74, of Plainview passed away on January 13, 2016.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.
Lalo was born on February 2, 1941 in Odem Texas to Ascension and Maria Senona (Herrera) Estrada. He married Elida Trevi?o in Floydada on October 12, 1959 and they moved to Plainview in 1969 where they raised their family of girls. He worked at High Plains Concrete for over forty years until his retirement in 2004.
Lalo was gifted musically and enjoyed singing, playing the guitar and the accordion. He was a fisherman and he loved tinkering with gadgets, taking them apart and was always hopeful to be able to put them back together. He especially loved working on CB Radios. He and his wife were members of St. John's United Methodist Church in Plainview for years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed greatly.
He was preceded in death by four daughters, Rebecca, Olivia, Suzanna and Esmeralda Estrada and one son in law, Rufus Olvera.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Elida of the home; six daughters, Dalia Olvera of San Angelo, Sara Garza and husband Steve of Lubbock, Criselda Molina of Plainview, Rachel Martinez of Plainview and Carol Edwards and husband Jackie of Plainview and Lucy Estrada of Plainview; one sister, Adela Rodriguez of Robstown; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
