Lorine was born to Claude T. and Pauline Cook Waggoner in Elliot, TX on February 6, 1918. She was the middle of 5 children, Toby, R. C., Lorine, Mildred and Leroy, all of which preceded her in death. She graduated from Cotton Center High School in 1936 and married William Hollis Bryan in Clovis, NM August 31, 1940. They had been married for 56 and ? years when Hollis died in January of 1997. They had two sons, Douglas Hollis Bryan and Micheal Ray Bryan.

After her marriage to Hollis, Lorine became a member of the Hale Center Church of Christ. She loved flowers which was evident to those who visited her home. For some time, she painted canvases, selling some at local craft fairs. She also loved to sew, play cards, dominoes, and quilt with ladies at the Hale Center Senior Citizens.

In October of 2013, Lorine was no longer able to live on her own and moved to Cottage Village in Lubbock until August of 2015. After a stay in the hospital, she was transferred to Shepherd?s House in Wolfforth, TX where she remained until her death. We want to thank Shepherd?s House for their loving and professional care. All the staff treated her as if she were a member of their family and made her last days as pleasant as possible.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas and wife Nina of Uvalda, GA and Micheal and wife Marla of Brownfield, TX, two grandsonsons, David Kamont and wife Rochelle of Lawton, OK and Alex Bryan and wife Rebecca of Lubbock, 5 great grandchildren, Kayli Sierra Kamont, Issac Knapp, and Emily Knapp, Chrislyn Elizabeth Bryan and Corbin Micheal Bryan.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the Hale Center Senior Citizens, P. O. Box 205, Hale Center, TX 79041.
