Obituary

Funeral services for Carolyn Ziegler, 68, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with Tony McKinney of Azle officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Ziegler died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2004, at her residence. She was born Oct. 13, 1935, in Princeton, Ark. She graduated from high school in Fort Worth and from Texas Woman's University in Denton. She moved to Lubbock and worked for Hemphill Wells as an art director. She moved to Plainview in 1963 and worked for The Plainview Daily Herald for 18 years, writing the Business and Industrial Review page. She also helped her husband operate Ziegler Music Co. She married Paul K. Ziegler Sr., in 1963 in Fort Worth. Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kate and Ray Johnston of Plainview and Lillie and Tony McKinney of Azle; a son, Karl Ziegler of Waco; a brother, Richard Walsh of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren, Edward, Matthew, John and Justin Johnston, all of Plainview. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
