Obituary

A memorial service for Chuck Youngblood will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Restoration Outreach Center, 113 E. 10th St., in Plainview. Chuck, 62, and Cathy, 63, of Moody died Jan. 15, 2013, in their home. They were cremated and their ashes will be scattered on their property. Mr. Youngblood was born Jan. 9, 1950, in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1969. Mrs. Youngblood was born Oct. 5, 1949, in Houston where she grew up. They married on Aug. 26, 1979, in Houston. Among Mr. Youngblood's survivors are his mother, Opal Shelton; a sister, Mary Youngblood; and one of brothers, David Youngblood, all of Plainview.
