Obituary

Funeral services for Steven Lee "Stevo" Young, 19, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Edward Jennings officiating. Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Young died Friday, June 15, 2007, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. He was born Feb. 11, 1988, in Lockney to Sabrina Young and Stanley Williams. He lived in Plainview all of his life. He graduated from Plainview High School in 2006 where he was active in football and track. He was a correctional officer-3 at the Formby Unit. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, B.J. Young of Plainview, Stanley Lee Williams of Arlington and Stanley J. Stubbfield of Lubbock; four sisters, Charlet of Atlanta, Stacy Young and Roxanne Williams, both of Plainview, and Monterica Williams of Houston; and his grandmother, Ailmettery Williams of Beaumont. His grandmother, Ollie Mae Young, is deceased.
