Ybarra, Jovito Urravazo, Mrs. (Catalina Perez

Catalina Ybarra, 88 of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 12 o? clock in the afternoon on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Bill Anton celebrating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o? clock in the evening on Friday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Lemons Funeral Home.

Catalina was born on March 5, 1930 to Salvador and Maria Perez in Anson, TX. She was married to Jovito U. Ybarra and they were happily married until his passing on April 25, 2010. Catalina was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing. She loved cooking and spending as much time with her family as possible. Catalina was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two brothers and two sisters.

Catalina is survived by two sons: Richard (Pana) Ybarra and wife Gloria of Plainview and Miguel Ybarra of Amarillo; four daughters: Rita Ybarra Alcozar, Esperanza Lopez both of Plainview, Dolores Canales and husband Fidel of Amarillo and Lupe Ybarra of Lubbock; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
