Obituary

Memorial services for Arturo Garcia Ybarra, 75, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Ybarra died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at Prairie House Living Center. He was born Aug. 7, 1934, in Eagle Pass to Primitivo and Isabel Ybarra. He was a farm laborer and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Rudy Ybarra of Slaton; five daughters, Norma Ybarra of Lubbock, Eva Miller of West Palm Beach, Fla., Laura Ybarra and Maria Ybarra of Plainview and Tracie Ybarra of Austin; three brothers, Alejandro Ybarra of Lorenzo, Alfredo Ybarra of Petersburg and Armando Ybarra of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. His parents; a son, Arturo Ybarra Jr.; a brother, Pablo Ybarra; and two sisters, Victoria Hernandez and Beatrice Luna, are deceased.
