Wright, Kenneth Lee, Mrs. (Ada M. Bryant)

Services for Ada Bryant Wright, 67, of Abernathy will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Abernathy First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy McGuire officiating.

Burial will follow in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home.

She died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at University Medical Center.

She was born May 21, 1932, in Hale County. She married Kenneth Lee Wright on Feb. 17, 1950, in Clovis, N.M. He died Dec. 21, 1991. She owned and operated the Dairy Mart from 1972 to 1976. She worked for Dr. John Hale in Abernathy for many years. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Jim Rodriquez IV on Nov. 10, 1998.

Survivors include four daughters, Juanita West and Jerena Ryan, both of Odessa, and Joy Allen and Jennifer Schaap, both of Abernathy; a brother, Billy Bryant of Lubbock; two sisters, Inez Holt and Athalea Smith, both of Odessa; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
