Funeral services for Joe Ann Woolverton, 63, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Keith Ray, pastor of SouthSide Assembly of God, officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Woolverton died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 1999, in Memorial City Hospital in Tomball.
She was born Sept. 14, 1935, in Denton. She grew up in Ruidoso, N.M., where she attended schools. She lived in Plainview for several years and was involved in Woolverton Furniture Repair. She moved to Houston in 1996. She was a Pentecostal.
On June 11, 1955, she married John T. Woolverton II in Ruidoso. He is deceased.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Ballard of Tomball, Judy McLean of San Marcos and Gwen Foster of Plainview; one son, Tony Woolverton of Sunrise Beach; one brother, Jimmy Sublette of Ruidoso Downs; one sister Carrol Chappel of Ruidoso Downs; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
