Funeral services for Revis Dean Wood 90, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Steve Martin, pastor of Parkview Baptist Church, and the Rev. Joe P. Weldon of Plainview officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mr. Wood died at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, in Care Inn of Plainview.
He was born Sept. 21, 1913, in Runnels County. He attended school in Drasco and moved to Plainview in 1927 and attended school in the Prairieview Community. He served with the U.S. Army in the Medical Corps during World War II.
He farmed in the Plainview area most of his life except for 6 1/2 years when he worked for Allied Van Lines in Amarillo.
He was a custom farmer for Jerry and Mike Harder and Ray Sanders for more than 20 years.
He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
On Feb. 16, 1968, he married Addie Elizabeth Webb in Floydada.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Perry M. Wood of Germantown, Md.; two stepsons, Lanny J. Webb of Plainview and Marke D. Webb of Austin; a sister, Lucielle Wood of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Dustin and Tiffany Wood; a great-grandchild; six step-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
A sister, Novie Woods, is deceased.
