Obituary

ABERNATHY - Funeral services for Alice C. Wolf, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Lowrie, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home. Mrs. Wolf died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001. She was born April 23, 1940, in Littlefield. She was a member of First Baptist Church and sang in the choir. On June 9, 1957, she married Ralph Wolf in Abernathy. Survivors include her husband; a son, Sammy Wolf of Plainview; a daughter, Connye Teal of Abernathy; two sisters, Darlene Fritz of Lubbock and Tijuana Loper of Abernathy; and six grandchildren. A daughter, Lisa Wolf Mills, died Sept. 10, 2001. The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church, 411 Seventh St., Abernathy, TX 79311; the Abernathy Cemetery Association, c/o First State Bank, Box 150, Abernathy, TX 79311; or to a favorite charity.
