Obituary

Memorial services for Ailene Wisenbaker, 69, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in The Oasis Church with the Rev. John George, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Wisenbaker died Wednesday, April 27, 2005. She was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Athens, Ga. In 1962, she moved to Lubbock from Jacksonville, Fla. She was a longtime employee of Goodwill Industries in both Jacksonville and Lubbock. She also had been a longtime resident of Legend of the Plains Nursing Facility in Hale Center. Survivors include two sisters, Connie Cox of Lubbock and Kathy Sims of Woodward, Okla.; a brother, Raymond Church of Jacksonville, Fla.; her stepmother, Lorene Davis of Arlington; a daughter and son-in-law, Martha Young White and Leland White of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials to The Oasis Church, 3400 Garland, in Plainview.
