LUBBOCK ? Graveside services for Lucile Boone Windwehen-States, 85, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Johnson, pastor of Second Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Home.
Mrs. States died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
She was born April 4, 1913, in Hazel Hill, Mo. She moved to Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School and attended Wayland Baptist University. She moved to Lubbock in 1974 and worked as a dental assistant. She retired as a recovery room nurse from South Park Hospital.
She had been a member of Second Baptist Church since 1976.
Survivors include two daughters, Joni Lynch of Lubbock and Joy Rose of McCalla, Ala.; a sister, Lena Stewart of Lubbock; four grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Meals on Wheels of to Second Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
