Windwehen, Max Robbie

FRITCH - Max Robbie Windwehen, 77, died Sunday, March 19, 1995 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Borger Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Ichman, pastor, and the Rev. Charles Foster Johnson, pastor Second Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Parklawn Cemetery in Plainview. Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Borger. He will lie in state from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Missionary Baptist Church.

A native of Eldarado, Okla., he moved to Fritch from Plainview in 1978. He was employed as a line supervisor for Southwestern Public Service Company for 43 years before he retired in 1980. He was a member of Borger Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Windwehen in 1990.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Arnold of Hayes, Kan.; Johnnie Lou Lynch of Lubbock; and Joy Maxine Rose of McCalla, Ala.; two sisters, Amelia Ray and Mozelle Windwehen, both of Andrews; and six grandchildren.
